Looking for an expert opinion on your manuscript? Unsure what type of edit your book requires? In need of motivation or a gentle push?
Our book appraisal service will provide you with an honest and constructive assessment of the publishability of your manuscript. We’ll also provide detailed advice on what works, what needs more attention, and outline how we can help you further in maximizing your book’s potential.
Manuscript assessment
– a report based on reading selected chapters from the beginning, middle, and end of your manuscript. This will provide you with honest feedback about the publishabilty of your manuscript and what needs to be done to get it ready for publication.
– a Developmental Edit of 2,000 words from your manuscript. You will receive feedback in the margins that will help you fine-tune the details of the story and make sure everything is clear, consistent, and logical for the reader.
– a Copy Edit of 2,000 words from your manuscript. We’ll correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and rewrite sentences where needed. You’ll receive one version in which the changes are visible and a ‘clean’ version in which they have been applied to the text.
